From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant — dim lighting, great music, and a modern Cuban charm that makes you feel both at home and on vacation at the same time. But what really made the night unforgettable was our waiter (Mr. Pineiro) Truly one of the best I’ve ever had — attentive without being intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and full of great energy. He didn’t just take our order; he guided us through the meal like a true professional, making thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. You could tell he genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He was also quite handsome. And the food… absolutely exceptional. Every dish was bursting with flavor — the ropa vieja was rich and tender, the empanadas perfectly crisp, and the cocktails were crafted with the kind of detail you’d expect at a top-tier cocktail bar. Everything came out at just the right pace, and every bite had that “wow” factor. Overall, Amelia’s 1931 is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Miami. Great atmosphere, phenomenal food, and a waiter who turned dinner into an experience. Can’t wait to come back.

We loved Amelia’s! It was our first time & we had a blast - the DJ was electric, food was out of this world, and all around brunch vibes were impeccable. Definitely recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we walked into Amelia’s, the experience was exceptional. Jasmine, the GM, greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our visit was perfect. Our server, Sebastian, was equally outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our evening special. As someone who follows a vegan lifestyle, I’m often prepared to “make do” with menu options, but not here—both Jasmine and Sebastian went out of their way to ensure I had creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes that fit my needs without compromise. Their care and effort made all the difference, and it’s rare to find such thoughtful hospitality. Amelia’s is a place where you’re treated like family, and the food and service are truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Where to begin… from the level of service to ambiance to taste of food plus entertainment was 5++. Jasmine (MOD) was AMAZING - from checking in with us while we waited for our table to helping her staff with a friendly smile - she was more than on point. Manny our server was great!!! He was informative- gave good suggestions- very attentive. We weren’t sure what to expect with “Cuban” food being in Miami - but it was great, flavorful/ tasty. The drinks were great too - the waitress while we waited suggested drinks based on what we like and did not disappoint. (Don’t remember her name sorry but would love to give her kudos as well). And then there was live entertainment- Jazz which we love. We can’t wait to come back. So glad we came here to celebrate my bf bday.

Brought the family for my wife's birthday and the food was great. We made it for brunch so the menu was limited, but the mimosas were good. The service was great, the food and the atmosphere were amazing. The place looks like an old speakeasy and the irony is there's a real dry cleaner next door.

This is a lil diamond in the rough in the middle of Kendall. I do not give out 5 start reviews that often anymore but this lil place had it all. Loved the ambiance from the beginning. They are going for this little speakeasy vibe. I loved it. If you read my other reviews, I'm not a service guy. I could care less as long as they come around once in a while. But the service was awesome. From the manager to the server. He knew his stuff. This place is perfect for just a pregame at the bar with the vibes it's got going on or for a date night but don't feel like driving to high society. It's amazing that a place of this quality is in the heart of Kendall. And honestly I am very happy about that. The food, there was nothing bad to say about the food at all. My top 3 things were the Pork belly, seafood ceviche, and a tie between the pulpo and the dumplings. If I had to knitpick at all is that my seco de res needed a bit more salt but that is not a knock against it as it was still delicious. I recommend locals to go and support this place. I would love for it to be there forever. We need places like this in our neighborhoods. And people that don't live in that area, please make the trip it'll be worth it. All the food was soooo good. And drinks are heavy handed which I loved. Please go. And and lastly I loved the love music, can be a bit loud but I loved the vibe. And after 11, they put in old school hip hop. Great touch. I did not try the bar they have on the other side, but there's always next time.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The place is beautifully decorated, resembling a 1930's speakeasy with cozy, elegant decor. We started with the Escargot and the Porkbelly and both were excellent. The Escargot did not disappoint. It came with six shells, plus crusty bread that I dipped on the left over oil and cheese: delicious. For cocktails, the Silk Stalkings and the Original Sin were ok. Strong in liquor but did not have a bold flavor; with the Original Sin tasting more like a margarita than apple. The Tiramisu was a generous portion with a bold coffee flavor and authentic cream. Service was exceptional. Easy access from the street. Vegan options available (salad). Several gluten free options available. Would love to return and try other fare.
